Need Help Planning Your Next Family Trip

By Pablo Cox

Make planning your next vacation simple. This is very easy to do if you go out and get free travel brochures from the internet. You can simply log on and find pamphlets and information on the next place you would like to travel to for free. You are able to find free travel guides for almost any destination in North America.

Even if you do not know where you want to go you can order several different guides and that can help you decide. Last year we decided to go to southern Utah. I have always seen pictures in books and magazines, but I always thought that Utah would be pretty boring. We found a site and ordered several travel guides from them. After reading more about southern Utah I was very interested in going there.

When you go to different tourist spots often times they will have a little kiosk that you can go to in your hotel that has all sort of travel guide pamphlets that will give you an idea of what to do in the area. But what if you are debating on where to go? They don't really have a kiosk like that at the local grocery store.

This is a real convenient way to make travel plans. If you are like me, you like to have an itinerary with you at all times during a vacation. I hate wasting time arguing with everyone on what to do next. Having a brochure of the local area will almost eliminate the arguments. You can fill your days something for everyone.

There are several different things to see in this great country and great places to visit. The history of this country is really awesome and too sees some of the sites is a lot of fun. Our trip to Sandusky, Ohio last year led us on a cross country tour and we passed through a lot of great sites, including my girlfriend's favorite, the bridges of Madison County.

We also used this site for my little brother. He had to do a state report. That wouldn't be so hard but his state was Maine. There is nothing wrong with Maine, we just didn't know much about it. We found several brochures that were very insightful. He cut pictures out of them and pasted them to a poster board.

The Internet is not going anywhere. Now you can even access it on your cell phone. The convenience of information at your finger tips has suddenly called the printed information into question. Newspapers and magazines are struggling to turn a profit. It makes you wonder what the future of travel guides will hold for vacationers. It is not smart to rely solely on technology while vacationing. Last August I took a river trip down the Colorado River. We were so far from civilization that my technology didn't work. I did not have one bar of reception.

Next time you go on vacation I dare you to do it the old school way. Leave your technology at home and follow a map and travel guides. Take a real vacation from the world, technology and all the other distractions we have now days. - 30214
